TERMINATOR: SURVIVORS' Early Access DELAYED

Developer Nacon announced yesterday that its upcoming open world co-op game, Terminator: Survivors, has been delayed. Taking to the games official X account, the Lesquin based publisher behind RoboCop: Rogue City would inform us that the game will no longer fulfil its original Early Access date of October this year. Instead the game is now expected to arrive at an unspecified date next year.

“We are working very hard to bring the post-apocalyptic world of Terminator to life. Our goal is to create a deep immersive experience where each decision you make is crucial to your surviving.
Over the past few months, we’ve been really impressed by your enthusiasm and amazed by the response to our announcements, and we know how eagerly fans are awaiting Terminator: Survivors,” the studio said. “To realize our vision, and to make sure to deliver the game that fits your expectations, we need some additional time. Thus, we will be pushing the launch to 2025.”

Originally announced back in 2022, the upcoming multiplayer game is set to take place in a “yet unexplored timeline” of the Terminator universe. Taking place sometime after the events of Terminator 2: Judgement Day, the game will see players band together to fight both Skynet and other humans, having to salvage supplies to help improve their base of operation. When the game finally reaches its Early Access release, it will allow player on PC to test out the various game mechanics and explore this new take on the classic franchise.

Terminator: Survivors will be released on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5 and PC.
