Sony's Spider-Man Universe continues to grow, with Kraven the Hunter currently slated to arrive at the end of the year and Madam Web having already arrived to negative criticism earlier in the year. Sony has one more Spider-Man related release on the horizon, with Tom Hardy set to make his third, and likely final, appearances as Eddie Brock in Venom: The Last Dance.
Coming off the back of a rather lacklustre Venom: Let There Be Carnage, as well as the mediocre reception to Madam Web and Morbius, Sony has a lot riding on this third instalment. Apparently continuing from where the last entry left off, Venom: The Last Dance will see Eddie Brock and the symbiote hunted down by both the military and other creatures from Venom's home world.
The first official trailer, which Sony dropped a couple months back, does a fantastic job of teasing a spectacular conclusion to Eddie's tale. Showcasing the humorous odd couple relationship of Eddie and the symbiote, as well as the perilous threat ahead of them we are given the impression that we're in for a hell of a ride. The trailer also teases a more enticing plot this time around, without showing too much of its hand.
