LIBERTY FALLS Trailer for CALL OF DUTY: BLACK OPS 6

We're one day removed from the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Early Access Beta, with Xbox Game Pass subscribers and those who have pre-ordered the game about to get hands-on experience of this latest entry. If this wasn't enough to get fans excited Activision would host their Call of Duty: NEXT event, dropping more information on their upcoming release. Amongst the various news, the publisher would give us a brand new trailer for their round based Zombies mode, showcasing their Liberty Falls map.

The trailer gives us a glimpse of what to expect from the revived rounds based Zombies mode, with the small town of Liberty Falls being one of two maps available at launch. Displaying a hybrid of the classic Zombies mode and the more open world landscape we've become accustomed to in recent years, this best of both worlds take looks as dynamic as ever. The trailer also gives us another look at the zombie horde that players will come up against, with it having the potential to be the franchise's best Zombies mode to date.

The game will also see a long awaited addition to the mode, with players finally being able to save and quit during play. This obviously is only limited to offline matches, but nonetheless should prove a popular addition to the game, allowing more advanced players to take a break between rounds.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is set to arrive on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC on October 25th, coming to Game Pass day one.

FIRST LOOK at CALL OF DUTY: BLACK OPS 6 Campaign at GAMESCOM

Activision are in full gear with their ad campaign for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, looking to get gamers hyped prior to the release of its early access beta. Whilst at this year's Gamescom developers, Raven Software, would go one step further to generate interest, showcasing the “Most Wanted” level from the games campaign.

Given the negative reaction that the Modern Warfare 3 campaign got last year, there was a lot of pressure on delivering a solid one this time around. If this example is anything to go off, it looks as if Raven Software will certainly deliver on this goal. Showcasing the fluid first-person gameplay that we've come to know from the series, the video definitely gives the impression that this will be a fun addition to the franchise. The slick cinematics and addition of a weapons wheel for supplements also proves enticing, being sure to leave gamers intrigued to jump into the beta at the end of the month.

Being a follow-up to Black Ops Cold War, this latest instalment will take place in the early ’90s, seeing the return of franchise favourites including Frank Woods and Russell Adler. The campaign will show the period of transition following the Cold War, with the rise of America as a single superpower.

In addition to Black Ops 6 gameplay, Activision would also announce a new operator skin for Modern Warfare 3 and War Zone, partnering up with The Crow. Arriving today, the skin comes just in time for the upcoming movie's release, allowing players to fight online as Eric Draven.

Round-Based ZOMBIES TERMINUS Trailer for CALL OF DUTY: BLACK OPS 6

Activision seems to be all in when it comes to its Zombies mode in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, dropping their second trailer in two days. Where the previous trailer was all about setting up the story and showcasing the cinematic aspect of the mode, this one is all about the round based gameplay.

Delivering a mixture of gameplay and cinematics, the new trailer shows us exactly what to expect in Terminus: glorious carnage. Being set to the beat of Rob Zombie’s “Dragula” the trailer highlights aspects of the mode we've all come to know and love, including the Mystery Box and GobbleGum machine. It also gives us a closer look at the latest designs of the zombies, with the action and gore looking as terrifying as ever. The trailer also briefly highlights the round based progression of the mode, with the featured map looking truly magnificent.

Having become a popular aspect of Call of Duty since its inception back in 2009's World at War, the mode is sure to be a welcome sight in the upcoming release. Continuing the Dark Aether storyline that we last saw in Black Ops: Cold War, the modes storyline will see the former Requiem team break out of the Terminus prison, seeking revenge on the person that put them there. All whilst battling a horde of zombies

CALL OF DUTY: BLACK OPS 6 Gets a ZOMBIES TERMINUS Cinematic Trailer

Having been a staple part of the gaming calendar for the last two decades, Call of Duty is one of those franchises that very well might stand the test of time. Between its immersive campaigns, competitive multiplayer modes and in more recent years War Zone, the series somehow manages to continually draw in fans. Another popular addition amongst fans is its long running Zombies mode, with it being a regular feature since its inception in 2009's World at War.

The mode is set to once again feature in Activision's upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 with the developers releasing a cinematic trailer on YouTube yesterday.

Continuing the Dark Aether storyline from Black Ops: Cold War, the trailer shows our team of CIA operatives imprisoned, having been put there by Requiem director, Edward Richtofen. Having undergone both physical and mental changes during their five year incarceration at Terminus, the former Requiem team plan a breakout, finding aid from an unlikely ally. Only thing standing between them, vengeance and escape is yet another dimensional zombie outbreak.

On the surface this looks like yet another exciting addition to the popular mode. As though the various campaigns haven't always stuck a high cord, it's always fun killing zombies with an array of different weaponry. The return of familiar faces also intrigues, with the expanding lore of Dark Eather being extremely enticing.
