This has been a brilliant series, and one of my favourites since the start of Marvel NOW!, and it's also been one of the best Deadpool series I've read. It's ton's of fun, and has Deadpool at his witty best, with some good jokes (some not so good), and brilliant action, and Brian Posehn, Gerry Duggan, and Tony Moore have done an amazing job on this series.
Plot
The final battle is about to commence, and Deadpool is set to take on the first president of the United States, George Washington, and fittingly they're in Washington D.C.
Review
This was yet another amazing issue, and probably the best in the series so far. This was the big finale to the mysterious zombie presidents opening story arc to Deadpool, and Brian Posehn, and Gerry Duggan didn't have close it with a bang. What I liked most about the writing was that it was much more serious this time round, as most of the series has been fun, with Deadpool taking things not very serious, but with the consequences of this final battle, he has to be serious. Don't get me wrong, this is still a fun issue, and it has funny moments, but Posehn, and Duggan have toned it down a bit, knowing when to add a joke, and when it's time to be serious. The only thing I didn't like about the writing was how they wrote Captain America (yes the Avengers make an appearance), as he felt way out of character, but I'll talk more about that later.
Once again Tony Moore has given us some fantastic art, and it's nothing short of phenomenal. This series wouldn't be as good if it wasn't for Moore's artwork, and although Posehn, and Duggan have done a brilliant job with the writing of the series, it's Moore's art that makes it shine. I just love his gruesome style, and the way he doesn't worry about holding back, making both Deadpool and the undead presidents look grotesque. Everything from the character's, to the scenery has brilliant detail, looking truly epic. The facial expressions were also spot on, and you could easily feel what the characters were feeling, whether joy, or anger. To be honest there isn't anything to fault about the artwork, and if every comic book had art to the quality level of this I'd be very happy, but I can be thankful that this series has that level of quality.
There were still jokes in this issue, and although there wasn't as many, due to the issue being more serious, there was still some good ones. Not all of the jokes throughout this series have been good, but I try and forget the bad ones, as I'd rather it contain bad jokes than none at all, as that would just ruin Deadpool, who's known for his jokes. One joke in particular interested me, and that was when Deadpool said that, "at least there's no gangnam style where I'm going." I found this funny due to the fact that Deadpool featured on a variant cover (which he frequently does) for Avengers #1, and on the cover he's doing the gangnam style. Besides that the jokes weren't as good as usual, but at least there was an effort, and due to the serious nature of the issue, it's understandable.
The magic, and mystery continued throughout this issue, and it probably had the best magic in the entire story. I won't talk specifics, as it's best to see for yourself, but it was truly epic, and set the perfect tone for the final battle. I've really enjoyed the magic, and mystery throughout this story, and Posehn, and Duggan have handled it really well throughout, but the magic in this issue was simply outstanding, and made the rest look average (which it wasn't). I also liked that despite this Michael didn't have to big a role, and that it was all left down to Deadpool, and George Washington, although it was nice seeing Michael.
The fight between Deadpool and George Washington was brilliant, and it didn't disappoint. Although the fight I most looked forward to was with Deadpool and Abraham Lincoln (which happened in issue 4), this was the best, and I'm glad of that due to it being the finale. What I loved was that George assumed that he could beat Deapool easily, and was confused by his actions entirely, as although he thought he was in control, he didn't account for the randomness of Deadpool. Deadppol was also brilliant in the fight, and although he's made fun of most presidents throughout during fights, he kept it to a minimum, as this was very personal for him (see last issue to find out why). I did however find the end of the fight slightly sudden, and had mixed feelings on it, but won't go into details as to avoid spoilers.
As I said earlier in my review the Avengers make an appearance. Sorry if anyone see's this as a spoiler, as I personally don't think it is, but if I have I'm sorry. I won't say how the Avengers are involved, as that would defiantly be a spoiler, but I will say my feelings on the subject. As I said already, I didn't like that Captain America was out of character, as he acted very obnoxious, and wasn't anything like the Captain America that I enjoy reading. Deadpool's reaction to the Avengers was however very well handled, and although Posehn, and Duggan can't write the Avengers very well, they've always done a good job of writing Deadpool, no matter what situation he's in. I also liked that Thor got a further appearance, as I enjoyed seeing him in issue 1, but besides that the Avengers appearance felt a bit forced, and unnecessary.
Final Verdict
This was a brilliant issue, and I can't honestly think of a better way to end such a fantastic story. It was still fun, an humorous, but it still had a very serious tone to it, due to the stakes being high. I would easily recommend this issue to anyone, as well as the entire series as if your not a Deadpool fan this will probably make you one, and current Deadpool fans that haven't tried it should also love it.

Saying that I've enjoyed this series would be a major understatement. I've always been a big Deadpool fan, but I don't think I've liked any of his series' as much as I'm loving this one. Brian Posehn, and Gerry Duggan are doing a fabulous job, and I hope that they can keep up this quality of work.

Deadpool goes into space to prevent Ronald Reagan from destroying America. Plus also killer monkeys.
Review
Another amazing issue of Deadpool, and it continues to amaze me. This issue wasn't the best in the series so far, but it was still very good. If I'm honest I was sceptical about the writing team of Posehn, and Duggan when I first heard that they were working on this series, but they have really blown them thoughts clean out of my mind, as they've created a series that I'm excited about each time it's out, something that Deadpool's not quite done for me in the past. I've really loved the way they've mixed the humour with this weird style of storytelling, and how they've used reference jokes from time to time, even if some of them didn't work for the better, as overall the humor has been not just only something that a Deadpool series needs, but it's taken away from all the gruesome sequences, making them more light heartened.
Tony Moore's art is phenomenal, and I hope that he stays on this series for a long, long time. To be honest I think the story in this series could be crap and I'd still get the series (although it's not) just for Moore's art. It's truly wonderful, and I've never been has happy whilst looking at artwork for Deadpool as I am when I look at Moore's. It's got the gruesome look which really suits the series, and I'm happy that he doesn't beet around the bush when it comes to that. Although most things that happen in Deadpool aren't realistic, if it was Moore's art would be very realistic, as it's very close to what I'd imagine these events looking like in my head. The detail in Moore's art is also brilliant, and it's really hard to fault anything in his art. What I've especially liked about his art in this series is how he's treated the presidents, making them look as true to likeness as he can whilst keeping them as zombies, and how he draws Deadpool under the mask, as a lot of people make it look like nothing at all.
The sequence at the start of this issue was amazingly brilliant. I'll warn now that I will spoil the sequence in this paragraph, but due to it being the very first thing in the issue (and minor) I've decided not to tiptoe round it. Skip the remaining of the paragraph if you're not wanting any spoilers. Well the sequence sees a fan of Deadpool letting him know that he's a fan. Deadpool chucks his mask at the kid, which the kids initially delighted with before noticing the blood on it, which send the kid going crazy. This was brilliant, and I loved that Deadpool couldn't even react with a fan without mentally scaring them.
I've also liked that …has been getting some more development in the last couple of issues, and feel that he's becoming a much more interesting character than he initially was. I also think that he's became much more important than he initially was, which is nice.
Monkey's in space. It's always a blast seeing monkeys in space, but in a Deadpool comic even more so. I really enjoyed the Deadpool issues featuring Hit-Monkey, so this took me back to them moments, and made me want another Hit-Monkey series. Anyway the monkey's in this issue were brutal. I loved the way that Deadpool initially tried to reason with them, as fighting them was hindering his mission. Another thing I liked in this sequence was the Planet of the Apes reference. With monkey's and Deadpool it was bound to happen sooner or later, and although some people may see it as a corny joke I quite liked it.
I also loved that the series continues to acknowledge that Deadpool knows that he, and the Marvel Universe are comic series'. I especially liked the reference about his upcoming video game, as I'm really looking forward to that coming out.
It was also nice to see some surprises in this issue, and some of the more shocking nature. Like usual I won't say specifics, but it was nice that it was something more shocking, and not as predictable as I'd have thought (although it wasn't a total surprise).
The fight between Deadpool and Regan was also interesting. As I said I was really looking forward to seeing Deadpool in space again, and to have him fighting a former president in space was also brilliant. The fight itself was very well though out, and although it wasn't necessarily the best fight in the series so far it was very good, and Moore made it look magical.
I'll finish of my review by stating that the contraption on the cover actually features in the issue. I'm pleased about this as it's a brilliant looking piece of machinery, and I hate when covers have something cool on them without actually having them in the comic.
Final Verdict
This was a brilliant issue, and continues this fabulous series nicely. I highly recommend this to anyone, and especially Deadpool fans, as it's always a good read whenever Deadpool's in space, but this issue is probably the best Deadpool in space issue I've read.

I have been really enjoying this series, and have loved each issue that has been out so far, and this series is looking to be the best Deadpool series ever. Brian Posehn and Gerry Duggan have done an excellent job of writitng this series, along with Tony Moore's fabulous artwork, and I hope it's as good as this for a long time.
Plot
This issue sees Deaddpool face many of the remaining undead presidents, including John F. Kennedy., Herbert Hoover, and more. It also sees Deadpool finally square off against Abraham Lincoln.
Review
This was yet another fantastic addition to this brilliant new series of Deadpool, and my favorite so far. Posehn, and Duggan have really done something amazing in this series, as it's a brilliantly funny series, whilst also still having a very good story. This issue in particular was very funny in my opinion, and I loved all the jokes throughout, whereas with the previous issues there'd be at least one joke that I'd either not like, or that'd feel forced. I've also loved how Posehn, and Duggan's handled the mystic side of this story, as they've raised these zombie presidents, but they use them in a way that plays to Deadpool's strengths,and I honestly don't think this story would be as good with any other character.
The art in this issue was phenomenal, and Tony Moore continues to amaze me. I have never seen an artist do the artwork with this level of quality on a Deadpool magazine before, and it will take an extraordinary artist to do it again. His art is the thing I love all the time, and even if there is a small flaw in the story, Moore's art more than makes up for it, and is a reason in itself to get this series. I've never seen any artist draw Deadpool as graphically as this, with it still looking slightly realistic, but Moore has done this, which I'm very happy about. Moore also adds ton's of detail in his artwork and everything looks brilliant, whether it's Deadpool, the undead presidents, the supporting characters, or even the scenery, everything looks fantastic.
As I said earlier in my review, this issue has some brilliant comedy, and it opens with the best joke the series has seen so far. The issue starts with Deadpool dressed up as Marilyn Monroe, to lure in J.F.K. I thought this was hilarious, and that the dialogue was priceless. The funniest thing however was the way J.F.K. reacted, thinking that this was actually Marilyn, and that she'd let herself go over the years. The aftermath of this was also funny, with Deadpool, and Agent Preston arguing over whether the dress should get dry cleaned or not. Moore also drew this scene very well, as Deadpool looked a lot like Marilyn, whilst also clearly looking like himself.
There was also a big action sequence after this where Deadpool goes through most of the remaining undead presidents, in a montage style. I thought this was a very good sequence, mainly due to the artwork, as it looked epic, but at the same time it felt a bit rushed, and looked like it's sole purpose was to take out a bunch of undead presidents, so as it looks like Deadpool's actually done some work. If they wanted this effect they could have probably added a couple of lesser known presidents to each issue, so it doesn't look as forced, or rushed, but at the same time this issue was beyond brilliant before this small imperfection, whereas if added to any of the other issues it may have made them a lot worse. This sequence also had a few funny quips from Deadpool in it, and I also liked that it had the presidents were bunched into groups that consisted of presidents presiding, or following one another, in the order they were presidents (i.e. 11th, 2th, and 13th presidents).
The best thing about this issue however was the fight between Lincoln, and Deadpool. I've been looking forward to this ever since I first saw the cover for this issue, and whilst reading the issue I was starting to think that it was one of these issues you get with a miss-leading front cover. It wasn't however, and Lincoln, and Deadpool squared off inside a MMA cage. The fight itself was epic, and I couldn't of asked for anything better. Like he's done throughout this series, Moore has done something truly phenomenal in this sequence, and it's what makes this fight brilliant. Posehn, and Duggan also did a fabulous job of writing the fight, and added in some brilliant jokes for Deadpool to use, and although they may not be to everyone's taste I loved them.
Final Verdict
A truly brilliant issue, and in my opinion the best in the series so far. It's a really funny issue, with some amazing action, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone, whether they're a Deadpool fan or not, as if you're not, this series will most likely turn you into one.

I have been a Deadpool fan for a number of years and so far this has been one of the best series' I've ever read. Brian Posehn and Gerry Duggan have done an amazing job on this series and I love how they've taken Deadpool in a different and better direction.
Plot
This issue sees Deadpool and S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Preston visit Doctor Strange to ask for his help with their Necromancy problem. Strange initially tells them to go away thinking they're not serious but once realising they are decides to help. Also in this issue Deadpool faces George Washington, Gerald Ford, and Abraham Lincoln together and Richard Nixon after that.
Review
This was another amazing issue and I can't believe how good this series has been so far. I totally understand that the series isn't to everyone's taste and that some might find it too silly, but I've been thoroughly enjoying it and the silliness is one of the things I've liked so much about the series. Posehn and Duggan have done a tremendous job in this series and I love how they've been able to keep the series very funny, whilst developing a brilliant story, and giving us some great cameo appearances. I've also loved how they've been able to put, comedy, magic and zombies together perfectly in this issue and how everything feels like it's meant to be there, and doesn't feel forced in.
Tony Moore's art has been truly stunning throughout this series. His art really suits this series and I love how he everything look cool and exciting, which is what you need in a Deadpool comic. I also love how he puts so much gore into his art, and whether it's the undead presidents or Deadpool that's getting cut up, he doesn't scrimp on the gore. I also like how he's handled adding Strange to the issue, and how he's been able to show Strange's magic a lot more unique and clearer than the magical vibe that hangs around the zombies. I've said this in previous reviews, but the way he's been able to take some of America's most historic figures in the form of these undead presidents and make them look like they did whilst living, but also look zombie like is amazing. The detail throughout his art is also brilliant as with everything that's going on you'd expect the odd imperfect background or person in the distance but not in Moore's art. He put's detail into everything and I'm happy about that.
This issue sees Deadpool break the fourth wall for the first time this series. For newer readers or fans Deadpool has been famous over the years for breaking the fourth wall, and talking to the reader. The reason behind him breaking the fourth wall was apparently due to Loki telling him that he was a comic book character in Deadpool #45, I think, but as that was a Deadpool book and that it was Loki telling him this it doesn't necessarily mean that Loki knows this, and that Loki might never have been there at all. Anyway breaking the fourth wall has been a big thing and I have enjoyed seeing it over the years, so for it to feature in this issue, showing that it's still there is a good thing. I also loved how no one around him, including the ghost of Benjamin Franklin, who might just be a figment of Deadpool's imagination, don't know who he's talking to. The way Deadpool reacted to this saying that, "it's too hard to explain in one panel," was also a nice touch.
Doctor Strange featuring in this issue was also nice, and I liked how he was handled in a way that wouldn't overly affect the tone of this series. I also liked how Posehn and Duggan didn't write what spells Strange used like Brian Michael Bendis did in New Avengers, as although that was good in that series I think it would confuse people who are simply Deadpool fans. I also liked how we saw a funnier side to Dr. Strange, and although this isn't the way the character usually is, if he was as series as he is in other series it would take the light humoured mood out of the issue. He also made a remark towards Benjamin Franklin in this issue which widens the question to whether Franklin in a ghost or is he just in Deadpool's head, and is Strange only saying this in case he's there.
I love how this series Deadpool keeps cracking jokes and whether you love it or hate it its' what should be in a Deadpool comic. Fair enough there have been a couple of times in previous issues where I've thought he's told too many or said a joke that's not good, but that's who Deadpool is, and this issue I liked the jokes. There were two I liked in particular but one wasn't really a joke. The first one, which is the one that's not really a joke, was when he said, "I can't wait to pound that Dick," referring to Richard Nixon, then asking Dr. Strange if he has a spell to undo what he said. The other joke I liked was when Deapool comes through Dr. Strange's portal and asks Washington what time it is, but I won't spoil the punch line, and if you defiantly don't wan't it spoiled don't enlarge the picture on the left.
The fights in this issue were also very good and I liked how Deadpool didn't face one president in this issue, but four. Although Lincoln didn't really do much Deapool still had to content with Washington and Ford, and seeing these two presidents fighting together was very fun. The main fight between Deadpool and Nixon was also very good and I'm not to sure which one I preferred. Although I loved how he kept running his mouth during both fights, constantly making witty remarks I probably preferred the comments he made during the Nixon fight. It's also been interesting seeing all these undead presidents with superhuman strength, which also makes them a more worthy foe than they would have been if they were simply presidents. I also liked how some of the presidents are still bitter about things that happened when they were alive, like Lincoln complaining about John Wilkes Booth, and Nixon outraged to be at Watergate.
Final Verdict
This was another fabulous issue and this is looking to be one of the best Deadpool series ever. It's a very fun series with ton's of jokes, some good, some bad, and full of brilliant action packed fights. I would highly recommend this issue as well as the entire series so far, and am looking forward to the next issue.

I loved the first issue of this series and I was very happy to see Deadpool get not just a good new series, but a great one. I have loved the character for a number of years now but I don't think I have read as good a start to a Deadpool story let alone series prior to this an Brian Posehn and Gerry Duggan have done an amazing job with the character.
Plot
This issue sees Deadpool still out for the count after being shot by Abraham Lincoln, and is dreaming about female superheroes including Invisible Woman, Emma Frost and She-Hulk fighting over his affection. He wakes to be greeted by the ghost of Benjamin Franklin who offers to help him with his undead presidents issue. After calling into S.H.I.E.L.D. Deadpool gets his next target, Theodore Roosevelt.
Review
This issue was amazing, and this series is looking to be one of my favourite Marvel NOW! series, and easily the series with the most fun in it. I love Posehn and Duggan's writing throughout the first two issues of this series and I like the direction they are taking Wade. The biggest thing I like about how they write Deadpool is how they make him constantly funny, like he should be. It doesn't matter what he's doing, whether it's hallucinating about super heroines fighting over him or fighting a undead president he always finds time to make a joke. I also liked how this issue they took the humour down a slight notch to allow room to develop the story and add some scientific reasoning to the story.
The art is one of the things I have loved most about the first two issues and Tony Moore continues to do an brilliant job. I love how underneath the mask Moore really shows how bad Wade's face is showing all the burns, and dead skin. I also love how he draws the action sequences in this issue which are awesome and show Deadpool at his best. The way he draws the undead presidents is also amazing and I love how he's turned some of the most iconic men in American history into zombies. I also love how Moore continues to give ton's of gore in his art and I like the detail shown when parts of Deadpool's intestines or other internal organs are hanging out. My personal favourite image in this issue was Deadpool talking to the Meerkat's and copying the way they stand (pictured right). I know that some of the other images throughout this issue are a lot better art wise but Deadpool copying the way the Meerkat's stand was hilarious (or at least I thought so).
I loved the introduction of Benjamin Franklin to this story as it's nice to see someone who is as famous as famous in politics as most former presidents that's on Deadpool's side. I also like how Franklin makes the story a little more serious, and how he mentions a scientific theory about how to stop the undead presidents. It's also nice to see that although Franklin adds an intelligent character to help Deadpool, but that he has a goofy side to him and doesn't mind having a laugh. It also leaves the question, is Franklin real or just a figment of Deadpool's insane imagination as Deadpool is the only one that can see him. I wouldn't be surprised if Deadpool was just imagining him but if he is I don't know how Deadpool would know smart things to make him say.
The fight between Deadpool and Roosevelt in this issue was brilliant and I loved how Roosevelt didn't seem to care what the other undead presidents were up to and just wanted to go hunting. I also liked how Roosevelt was very calm when Deadpool first approached him, simply wondering if he was here to hunt too, and I loved how this calmness turned into furious anger after Deadpool shot him in the head. I also liked how cause of the fight happening in a zoo, how animals like a Elephant and Gorilla were involved before and during the fight. I especially liked seeing Roosevelt punching a Gorilla, and if it wasn't for the fact that he was a zombie I would be questioning how that was even possible.
The way this issue ended was also brilliant and although I won't spoil it I will say that Deadpool along with the ghost of Franklin, and S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Prescott go and ask for someone's help, and that it will be interesting to see how this transpires in the next issue.
Final Verdict
A brilliant issue and I extremely hope that the quality this series has been continues for a long time. I would highly recommend this issue and the series so far to both new and old Deadpool fans as you are bound to find something to enjoy about this series.

I have been a Deadpool fan for a number of years now and when I heard about it getting a new series I had mixed feelings. This is because overall I actually liked Daniel Way's series and although it ended a bit poorly it was a very good series. Also I didn't know anything about Brian Posehn or Gerry Duggan prior to this series. The addition to this new series that I was excited to see was Tony Moore as I have loved his art over the years whether it be the early issues of The Walking Dead or his time on the brilliant Venom series his art never disappoints and it didn't this time.
Plot
This issue sees former dead presidents being risen from the grave and wrecking havoc on the streets. After Captain America killing one of them got bad press in the papers S.H.I.E.L.D. don't want any big time superheroes killing the presidents. This is where Deadpool steps in after taking down a dinosaur and fighting the undead F.D.R., Deadpool gets tasked with getting rid of the undead presidents.
Review
This was a brilliant start to what I hope will be a brilliant series. Poshen and Duggan have really surprised me and produced a fabulous Deadpool comic. I originally thought that cause Poshen's a comedian this series would be chalked full of jokes and would lack in story. This has proven not to be the case as Poshen and Duggan have managed to give us a brilliant and fun story whilst keeping the jokes coming, which was nice. I am also happy that the jokes are still here because what would the Merc With A Mouth be without his witty banter and quick one liners.
Tony Moore's art was amazing in this issue and some of the best I've seen in a Deadpool comic in a while. Don't get me wrong other artists on the previous series did a great job but Moore's art really suits Deadpool and makes him look a lot more realistic whereas other artist make him look to flashy. Deadpool should look like he's a mess because with the trouble he gets himself into most of the time he is. Also the artist shouldn't be afraid to show Deadpool's face like Moore has as it's one of the most distinguishing features to him and after Way finished of his series by letting Wade have his face back it's nice to see him disfigured again as it shows that his healing factor isn't all it's cracked up to be.
I always though it would be great to see a lot of dead presidents as you'd have a lot of money but this story not so much as these dead presidents will try and kill you. Anyway putting my bad attempt at humour aside, I thought the introduction of the undead presidents was brilliant and great subject matter for a Deadpool story. Who else can have as much fun whilst killing dead presidents. This type of story just asks for Deaddpool and should produce some brilliant jokes and along the way. I am looking forward to seeing Deadpool's reaction as he faces some of the most famous people in American history.
I also like how S.H.I.E.L.D. open see Deadpool as scum and make it clear that's why they're asking for help. It was also nice to see Deadpool's calm reaction to this and that he didn't care he still saw himself as a hero. I also thought it was great to have other big name characters like Captain America or Thor in the main Deadpool series as it shows that although Deadpool is underrated (apart from his loyal fan base) he can still play with the big guns. I also loved THor's reaction to teaming up with Deadpool and how he sees Deadpool as second class wannabe hero and doesn't wanting to be associated with him.
Final Verdict
This was an amazing first issue to what will hopefully be a great series. This issue is packed full of great humour and I would highly recommend it. I for one am looking forward to next issue and seeing what Deadpool will do to defeat all these undead presidents.
