Tim Burton is set to return to the gothic horror filmmaking that he's best known for, reviving a concept that helped shoot him to fame thirty-six years ago. The concept in question is of course the wacky, yet mysterious Betelgeuse, with the undead trickster making his long awaited return to cinemas in less than a month. Though we've still got a short wait on our hands, Warner Bros. has given us plenty to speculate over, having recently dropped a second trailer for Beetlejuice Beetlejuice a couple of weeks ago.
The trailer quickly bridges the gap between films, with the Deetz family making a return to Winter River following the death of Charles Deetz. Introducing us to a new generation of the family, whilst also showcasing some familiar faces, the two and a half minute clip definitely manages to entice, with it not being long until the ghost with the most makes an appearance.
Now when it comes to reviving cult classics like Beetlejuice, there's always the chance that it won't live up to experience. Especially when so much time has elapsed between entries. Things do look promising for this long awaited sequel, however, with the various trailers and clips that Warner Bros. have teased sure to get fans hyped. It is also a joy to see Michael Keaton return to the titular role, with Jenna Ortega also looking a welcome addition to this wacky world.
Beetlejuice Beetlejuice is set to arrive in cinemas September 6th.
