It's a good time to be a gamer, with there being plenty of massive projects set to arrive both this year and next. One that is due to arrive later this month is Black Myth: Wukong, with the action role-playing game from Game Science having been in development since 2018. Taking inspiration from Chinese mythology, the game is set to be the first in a Black Myth series, with the developers dropping their final trailer for the game yesterday.
Since its announcement a few years ago, Black Myth: Wukong has been a game that I've personally been looking forward to, with its fantasy style aesthetics and mythological background being perfect for an RPG. Now that the game is on the horizon, hype is sure to grow, with this trailer giving us a stunning final look at the product.
Though the lengthy clip doesn't give us much to go on plot wise, it more than makes up for in visuals and overall gameplay. Showcasing a beautiful landscape and some intricately designed characters, the trailer does an outstanding job of conveying the world that Game Science has built. It also goes to great lengths at showing the various foes, both big and small, that our protagonist will face off against, with the action looking smooth and dynamic. This along with some breathtaking cutscenes leave us with a product that is sure to entice fans to explore this new product.
Black Myth: Wukong is set to arrive on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5 and PC on August 20th.
