The second season of
House of the Dragon came to its dramatic climax last night, but already
HBO are teasing their next wave of releases. One such teaser comes in the form of a 24 second video for
The Last of Us Season 2, which was shared on
X.
Focusing on
Joel (
Pedro Pascal) being confronted by a mysterious figure (
Catherine O'Hara) over his actions at the end of the first season, this short teaser gives us a glimpse at what's in store for our survivors. Emulating the tone of the second game, showing a more mature
Ellie (
Bella Ramsey), the clip also allows for our first glimpse at
Kaitlyn Dever as the complex villain,
Abby. We also see the return of
Jeffrey Wright as
Isaac, as well as a glimpse of
Isabela Merced as
Dina.
The brief clip also showcases a couple of moments that look as if they're taken straight from the video game, leaving us questioning whether our characters will meet a similar fate this time around. Though there's no exact release date, The Last of Us Season 2 will arrive at some point in 2025.
