KINGDOM COME: DELIVERANCE II Release Date Pushed to 2025

Originally slated to release at some point this year, Warhorse Studios have now announced that Kingdom Come: Deliverance II won't arrive until 2025. Taking to their official X account, the studio would give us a video addressing how they “unfortunately” won't be able to achieve their original 2024 release window. They do, however, cite that this allows them to give a “precise” release date of February 11th, 2025, “the anniversary week of Kingdom Come: Deliverance.” The video also goes on to detail various promotional events that will be taking place, including a 25 minute gameplay trailer that will drop during Gamescom.

Now it's never nice when a game gets delayed or pushed back from its intended release date, but more often or not it's for the betterment of the product. This extra time should allow developers, Warhorse Studios, to give some extra polish to the mediaeval action role-playing game, being able to deliver a product that they are satisfied with.

As was the case in its predecessor, the game will follow a blacksmith from Skalitz named Henry. It will see players once again fight in 15th century Bohemia, going up against Holy Roman Emperor Sigismund and his army. Much like the original Kingdom Come: Deliverance, the game will continue to allow players the ability to approach the various tasks and missions in a diverse manner. This will ultimately have consequences on how the game progresses, with the various actions resulting in unique responses from the NPCs.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is set to arrive on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5 and PC on February 11th, 2025.
