"SYCHO" SID EUDY Passes Away Age 63

Wrestling legend Sid Eudy, better known to fans as Sycho Sid or Sid Vicious, has sadly passed away at the age of 63 following a battle with cancer. The news comes from Eudy's son, Gunnar, who would share the news on Facebook making the following statement:

“Dear friends and family,

I am deeply saddened to share that my father, Sid Eudy, has passed away after battling cancer for several years. He was a man of strength, kindness, and love, and his presence will be greatly missed.

We appreciate your thoughts and prayers as we grieve this loss. Details for a memorial service will be shared soon.Thank you for your support.

Sincerely, Gunnar Eudy”

Having had multiple runs with both WWE and WCW, being a multiple time World Champion in both, Eudy would become an imposing force, being billed at 6ft 9” tall. Beginning his career in Memphis in 1987, Eudy would also perform for New Japan and World Class Championship Wrestling, adopting the name Sid Vicious for the latter. Eudy would go on to have a tenured career, main eventing WrestleMania 13 against The Undertaker, becoming predominantly retired following a leg injury in 2001.

I'd like to extend my sincere condolences to Sid Eudy’s family and friends during this sad time.
