The Punisher #2 Review

We're seeing the Punisher go down a very different route than he normally does in this series, and although this may have ruffled the feathers of some fans I myself think it's been a brilliant development. The way that Punisher is getting out and about and being less of a brooding character has been fantastic, as although you don't want him going too far in the opposite direction it's realistically be hard to operate out of L.A. otherwise.

Nathan Edmondson continues to give is the kind of dark and mysterious series that Punisher needs, with his tactical approach taking making Punisher deadlier than ever. What has intrigued me the most however is the way that Edmondson shows Punisher as a character, as during this issue and the last we see a more carefree nature, with the act of taking in a coyote being something I don't think he'd have done a few years ago. On top of this Edmondson continues to build a lot of suspense with the Howling Commandos and the new-old villain who appears at the end adding a lot of tension.

Mitch Gerads has been simply killing it with the art on this series, as despite being initially sceptical about how he'd fare I have to say I'm gladly surprised. The roughness along with the layouts gives a lot of depth and definition to this take on the Punisher. Gerads also gives us yet more explosive action with the characters reactions and facial expressions also adding a punchy tone. I did however question the decision to give Frank the kind of mask he was wearing in this issue, as despite the fact that it may not have been Gerad's fault rather Edmondson and that he needs to keep his face hidden due to his more outgoing stance, I thought it looked rather stupid.

Punisher continues to amaze me and with the villain who appeared during the cliffhanger I for one will definitely be rushing to get the next issue. Highly recommended.

She-Hulk #1 Review

She-Hulk is back, but is this a series fitting to the character? Read on to find out.

A stalwart Avenger, valued member of the FF, savior of the world on more than one occasion, she's also a killer attorney with a pile of degrees and professional respect. A 7-foot-tall drink of cool, emerald water, she's tough enough to knock out Galactus with one punch (possibly?) and has a heart bigger than the moon. But juggling cases and kicking bad guy butt is starting to be a little more complicated than she anticipated. With a new practice, a new paralegal and a mounting number of super villains she's racking up as personal enemies, She Hulk might have bitten off a little more than she can chew…but she just calls that that Tuesday.

She-Hulk is one of my favourite female characters, as although I've never read any of her solo adventures, I've enjoyed her appearances along side her cousin Bruce Banner (aka Hulk) and the Fantastic Four.

Charles Soule has created a lawyer based series that can rival Daredevil any day, utilising his experience as a lawyer perfectly. Soule gives us an entertaining opening issue that is both fun and gripping. The way that he makes light humour of legal jargon is simply amazing, and along with the fantastic dialogue this adds a lot to the overall tone of the issue. The issue was however not quite perfect, as despite being fun and enjoyable the story flew by rather quickly, with the lack of actual action during Jen's robot fight being a little annoying. I still however feel that this will be the kind of series that Jen needs, and look forward to reading more.

I've never been the biggest fan of Javier Pulido's work, but his quirky style actually suits this fun tale. The layout of Pulido's art simply astonished me, as it had a very unique feel, helping the story to flow smoothly. The thing that I loved the most however was the way that Pulido managed to make Jen look like the powerful character she is, as despite not showing her quite as the physical specimen she usually is, she still looked like a lady you wouldn't want to mess with. Added to this the fantastic colours from Muntsa Vicente and I can easily see myself becoming a fan to this style of artwork on this series.

She-Hulk gets off to a terrific start, being  both fun and entertaining. Highly recommended.

Wolverine #1 Review

Can he fight back his demons, or is this the beginning of a Wolverine who's gone to the dark side? 

The last series of Wolverine can be summed up in one word, mediocre. It's due to this that I had questionable expectations from this new series, as with Paul Cornell continuing to write Logan I was dreading that this new series would land up being exactly like the last.

Paul Cornell continues to makes changes to Wolverine, and in the process creates a very intriguing storyline. In saying that there is still a lot of similarities between the two series, as despite all the promise and speculation it was still slightly slow at times. Cornell did however add a lot of intensity to certain sequence, and added with the mysterious storyline this gives a big advantage to the series. The thing that interested me the most about this issue was the change in Wolverine's attitude, with this somewhat bad guy change giving an unique tone to the series. Added to that the fact that he doesn't appear to be under any mind control and this change makes the series all the more enthralling.

Ryan Stegman's art never fails to please, and much like it was the best thing about the launch of Superior Spider-Man it's the best part about this series launch. Stegman's style is so diverse and lively that you can't help but mulling over the pages, with his fantastic layouts making it a smooth and pleasant read. The new armour for Wolverine also catches the eye, as although I've not made up my mind whether I prefer this new look or not, it's certainly very modern looking, giving more style to the old blue and yellow.

This new series of Wolverine gets of to a decent start, and although I'm not sure just how good this series will becoming, I'm sure it won't be as bad as the last.

Black Widow #3 Review

I've really been enjoying Black Widow so far, as it's been a very exciting and energetic series, that shows the character at her full potential.

Nathan Edmondson continues to give a terrific espionage story, which is something that a Black Widow centred series needs. Edmondson also continues to develop Widow as a character, as although she's been around for a long time, we're still learning new things about this deadly spy, with this series showing a more questionable side to her. This adds a lot to the depth and tone, and at the end of the day her key characteristics are shown perfectly, which is what really counts. The most intriguing part of this issue was near the end, with a discussion between Widow and S.H.I.E.L.D. Director Maria Hill showing promise of a proper story arc.

Phil Noto's art was once again wonderful, as despite the odd rough panels it was still amazing. Noto also continues to give a very smooth and energetic flow to the series, with his colours as usual adding the perfect final tone to the series (for the most part). Despite all this I was actually ever so slightly disappointed with Noto's art in this issue, due to the rough panels, and it's obvious that the short time frame between each issue has caught up with him. I do however not blame Noto for this, and now that the series is on a monthly schedule I'm sure he'll be back to his high standards throughout every panel.

Black Widow continues to be a exciting and explosive series, and although the art wasn't quite as good in this issue it was sill amazing. Highly recommended.

I've been looking forward to this series for quite some time now, as following the end of Greg Rucka’s run comics haven't been too kind to Frank. This new series however looks to change all that, putting the Punisher back into the kind of environment that he thrives in.

Nathan Edmondson gives us a story that is very suited for the Punisher, with it also being very new reader friendly to non-Punisher fans. Edmondson showed the difference between Punisher and the rest of the Marvel Universe perfectly, and I especially enjoyed the line, " because everyone isn't afraid of the Avengers." as it revealing that the people of L.A. are more afraid of the Punisher than they are of actual superheroes. The issue was however not quite perfect, as despite setting the perfect tone it's still a little rough around the edges, and will need a little bit more development before reaching it's full potential.

Mitch Gerads' artwork was also amazing, as despite being a little rough for my usual taste it was simply perfect for this series. What I especially loved about Gerads art was the explosiveness of it, as the action sequences were very energetic, feeling like something out of a movie. Gerads also did a really good job of both the characters facial features and the layouts of the issue, with the latter adding a lot of intensity and the former capturing the story's tone perfectly. On top of this Gerads cover was also spectacular, with the symbolism of an urban jungle being perfect for the Punisher, especially considering he's moved to L.A.

The Punisher gets off to a terrific start and if it continues like this I will be a very happy fan. Highly recommended.

Black Widow #2 Review

Black Widow opened with a bang last issue, and despite not being quite as good as the first issue it still manages to be exciting and entertaining. It also continues to allow Black Widow to shine on her own, being the kind of solo series that she's needed for a while.

Nathan Edmondson takes the Black Widow to Shanghai in this issue, with her doing business with someone she already knows, making three mistakes along the way. Now I said that this issue wasn't quite as good as the first, but still Edmondson managed to show the espionage throughout this issue perfectly, whilst also projecting Widow's thoughts and emotions brilliantly as well. It is however ever so slightly too fast paced in my opinion, and although this doesn't hurt the issue much, it does slightly. Edmondson does however also continue to create some amazing narration and along with the suspenseful and mysterious build-up this looks to be a series that will continue to produce astonishing material time and time again.

Phil Noto yet again produced some phenomenal artwork in this issue, with it continuing to be some of the best art that I've ever seen from him. Noto's layouts were also once again superb, helping the flow of the issue perfectly, but it'd be Noto's outstanding colours that I'd continue to like the most. They add the perfect gritty tone that this series needs, and despite Noto always producing marvellous colours for his art these are by far some of his best. Noto didn't stop here though, as the breathtaking action simply leaped off the page, giving the kind of excitement that you expect from a Black Widow comic.

Black Widow continues to be an amazing espionage series, showing that some of Marvels best work come from their secondary characters. Highly recommended.

All-New Invaders #1 Review

The KREE EMPIRE intends to conquer the universe using a weapon that will grant them an army of NORSE GODS. It falls to four heroes united by their past—CAPTAIN AMERICA, NAMOR, THE ORIGINAL HUMAN TORCH and the WINTER SOLDIER—who must now face the future and wage war against the Kree to save Earth.

I've never really been the biggest fan of the Invaders, as despite not disliking them, and enjoying the characters individually I have never really had much of an interest in the team (apart from flashbacks in Captain America issues). I have however been really excited for this series as with it having the characters in the present, along with the creative team of James Robinson and Steve Pugh it grabbed my attention.

James Robinson is probably best known for his work at DC Comics, having recently finished his run on Earth 2. He has however started writing for Marvel again, with this along with the upcoming Fantastic Four relaunch being the first two titles he's working on. As for this issue Robinson did a terrific job of setting up this storyline, introducing the Kree as the main threat perfectly. I also loved how it focused mainly on Jim Hammond (the original Human Torch) as although it would have been nice to have seen more of the other Invaders, it was especially nice to see that Jim won't be a background character.

Steve Pugh also makes a return to Marvel with this series, proving why he's such a wonderful artist. Now I have to start by saying that I wasn't quite as impressed with his art as I usually am, as despite there being nothing wrong from Pugh's side, Guru Efx' colours didn't suit Pugh's art quite as well as the colourists that worked alongside him at DC Comics. The layout and impactful nature of Pugh's art was however as usual very impressive, with the intensity in some of Jim's expressions adding a lot of excitement.

All-New Invaders gets off to a great start, and despite needing a few more issues to see just how good the series will be, I for one look forward to what comes next. Highly recommended.

Avengers World #1 Review

Will Avengers World be a worthy addition or does it just prove that there’s too many Avengers titles out the now? Read on to find out.

In one cataclysmic day, the face of the Marvel Universe will change forever-- and the fight for Earth's future will begin. A globe-spanning epic of empires and armies, and the brave few who stand between them and us.

The big question that I keep asking is: do we really need more Avengers series’? The answer is no, but like most Avengers fans it’s hard not to get as many as you can, especially when they’re written by the likes of Jonathan Hickman and Nick Spencer. In saying that it is still not necessary to have three main Avengers series’, with over five other Avengers related series and the quality of this opening issue further proved that.

Hickman and Spencer did a great job of introducing us to the new series, which has a very interesting concept behind it. I did however feel that they tried to do a little too much too soon in this issue, as despite the argument that it’s necessary, the amount of different side plots could have been diluted down a bit. Or started over two issues instead of one. Hickman and Spencer did however give us a lot of suspense in this issue, with the mysterious nature behind the threat being extremely intriguing. I do however kind of wish that they’d use a different roster than the one from the main Avengers series though.

Stefano Caselli did a phenomenal job of the art in this issue, much like he did in his short stint on the main Avengers series. The detail in Caselli’s art never fails to impress, with every page and every panel being simply beautiful. The layout of Caselli’s art also helps with the story’s flow, as well as giving a lot of tone and atmosphere, with some sequences looking simply awesome. There is also a lot of tension and emotion shown throughout the characters facial expressions, and despite them feeling ever so slightly stiff and awkward at times, this gave a lot of realism as well as a serious tone to the story.

Avengers Word may take a few issues to get off the ground, but this is a decent start. It does however feel a little unnecessary so far as they could have easily saved this story for the main Avengers series. I do however still recommend giving this a try, and especially if you’re a fan of the main series.

Black Widow #1 Review

From the darkest corners of the Marvel Universe, Nathan Edmonson (Who is Jake Ellis?) and Phil Noto (Thunderbolts, X-23) bring you a new ongoing series as gorgeous and mysterious as Nastasha Romanov herself!

I personally am always a bit sceptical over series staring characters the likes of Black Widow, as despite loving the characters they can sometimes be handled very poorly. This however wasn't the case here with the style and tone of this first issue being brilliant.

Nathan Edmondson did an excellent job of taking this Avenger and putting her back into the environment that she's best suited to. I enjoy seeing Black Widow as an Avengers but as she doesn't really get used properly it's fitting that she's got her own ongoing series again. Edmondson handled the espionage part of this series perfectly, adding great tone and atmosphere. It was also nice to see Widow try to atone for her past sins, as it adding a bit more humanism to the story. On top of this I loved the amazing dialogue which was at times slightly amusing and others very gritty and serious.

Artist Phil Noto also didn't fail to impress reminding me why I love his artwork. The detail to Noto's art was simply phenomenal, being very consistent throughout and along with the smooth flowing layout it made this issue very pleasant to read. Noto also produced some very exciting sequences that were very lively, almost jumping off the page. The character expressions were also shown perfectly, adding a lot of emotion and realism to the story. It was however Noto's fantastic colours that I enjoyed the most as they suited the tone of the story brilliantly.

This was a terrific opening issue to Black Widow's new solo series and probably one of the best that she's ever had. I for one look forward to reading more from this series and hope that Edmondson does just as good a job in the upcoming Punisher series. Highly recommended.

Marvel Comics Solicitations January 2014

Marvel Comics has just released their solicitations for January 2014, giving you the chance to plan for the new year, tweaking or adding to you pull list.

NYCC 2013: Amazing X-Men and Marvel Universe Panel

Marvel would make some announcements today at the New York Comic Con with the Amazing X-Men and Marvel Universe Panel taking place. The panellists would consist of Marvel Senior Editor Nick Lowe, X-Factor writer Peter David, Deadpool co-writer Gerry Duggan, Cable and X-Force and Avengers Arena writer Dennis Hopeless, Astonishing X-Men writer Marjorie Liu, Thunderbolts writer Charles Soule, X-Men Legacy writer Simon Spurrier, X-Men writer Brian Wood and editors Jeanine Schaefer, Daniel Ketchum and Jordan D. White.

Lowe would kick things off taking about the upcoming Amazing X-Men series, saying how Ed McGuinness is so happy that he's finally getting the chance to draw Nightcrawler, and that the story will take the team through heaven and hell.

Next X-Men writer Brian Wood talked about his next arc that he'll be working on with Terry Dodson, and how it will be a Lady Deathstrike story. Wood also revealed that he'd be adding Monet to the team, and how she was a character that was on his original list when he started talking about the series.

The panel would move on to show how the new Wolverine and the X-Men arc will involve both S.H.I.E.L.D. and the Sentinels, whilst X-23 will be joining the All-New X-Men roster, with a cover showing her kissing a silhouetted man.

Uncanny X-Men will see the series crossover into Inhumanity, with a character debuting that Lowe said, "will have people throwing things at Bendis." It was also revealed that Uncanny X-Men #14 will see the aftermath of Battle of the Atom.

The panel would then go onto talk about Savage Wolverine, and how it will continue to have one arc stories from different creators, with Jock currently working on a three issue run, and Phil Jimenez taking over for a two issue arc showing Wolverine in Madripoor.

The panel then moved onto talk about the current Wolverine arc, "Killable" which will end in December. Schaefer would talk about Sabertooth's involvement, also questioning if Wolverine will get his healing factor back, and how the ending isn't to be missed.

The panel would then see Spurrier thank all the fans of X-Men Legacy for trying and supporting it, and how he wanted to announce something else at the panel, but that unfortunately he isn't allowed to at the moment.

Deadpool co-writer Gerry Duggan would be next to speak, saying how they're playing a long game with the series, and that they've plotted a long way out. He also said how issue 19 will see some real consequences that will change Deadpool, finishing by talking about issue 20 being another inventory issue with art by Scott Koblish.

White also announced that Deadpool Annual #1 written by Ben Acker and Ben Blacker with artwork Evan Shaner will answer the question: whatever happened to Deadpool's white caption boxes?

The panel would then go onto talk about a crossover that will involve both Uncanny X-Force and Cable and X-Force in an event called "Vendetta". The event will last over four weeks of January seeing two issues from each series. The crossover will also see the return of Stryfe

Longshot Saves the Marvel Universe would also be announce, with White saying how Longhsot no longer having a mullet in this series.

Marjorie Liu and Jeanine Schaefer would then go onto talk about Astonishing X-Men which has just ended, with Liu considering it as an honour to work on the series.

The panel would then move onto the All-New Marvel NOW! announcements, starting with the already announced She-Hulk series from Charles Soule. Soule would mention how he liked the idea of working on a character who's a lawyer, given the fact that he's a lawyer himself, and how he plans on writing She-Hulk in a way that allows her to interact with character all over the Marvel Universe.

Soule's "Sinners" teaser would be up next, with the revelation that Ghost Rider would become a member of the Thunderbolts. Soule would go onto say how this is Johnny Blaze, and that he's the perfect fit for the team. The story arc will be called "No Mercy", and will start with Thunderbolts #20.NOW.

It was then announced that the "Wrath" teaser that has Richard Isanove attached will (as I predicted) see him take over the Savage Wolverine series starting with Savage Wolverine #14.NOW with the story being set in the 30's.

Brian Michael Bendis "Trail" and Judgement" teasers would be revealed next, as Lowe revealed an arc called "The Trial of Jean Grey" that will be a crossover of both All-New X-Men and Guardians of the Galaxy, consisting of three issues from each series. It was also revealed that due to this the original X-Men won't be going back to their own time at the end of Battle of the Atom.

The "Corporate" teaser written by Peter David would be revealed next as a new series title All-New X-Factor. David would then start speaking, saying how happy he was to everyone that arrived, and that Quicksilver and Gambit will feature in the first issue.

The panel would then close with a fan Q&A session.

Marvel Teases "Hunted" "Wrath" "Overdrive" "Trust" "Defend" "Frenemies" "War" "Descent" and "Extinction" as Part of All-New Marvel NOW!

Marvel released yet another three teasers on Wednesday for their All-New Marvel NOW! with another project written by Nathan Edmondson teased as "Hunted" featuring artwork from Mitch Gerads, a project written and drawn by Richard Isanove teased as "Wrath" and a project written by Felipe Smith teased as "Overdrive" featuring artwork from Tradd Moore. On top of this Marvel released another five teasers for their All-New Marvel NOW! today, with a project written by Al Ewing teased as "Trust" featuring artwork from Lee Garbett, two projects written by Ales Kot, the first of which Comic Book Resources got an exclusive on teased as "Defend" featuring artwork from Garry Brown, and the other being teased as "Frenemies" featuring artwork from Michael Walsh, a project Newsarama got an exclusive on written by Chris Yost teased as "War" featuring artwork from Marcus To, and another project that Comic Book Resources got an exclusive on written by Dennis Hopeless teased as "Descent" featuring artwork from Kev Walker. Also like the previous teasers full details won't be released until the New York Comic Con.

My Thoughts

Now some of these I have found rather simple possibilities for, and others are a bit trickier. "Hunted" initially makes me think of Kraven the Hunter, and with this being revealed at the Superior Spider-Man panel I'd assume that this has something to do with him. "Wrath" initially had me thinking of Ghost Rider, but after noticing that it will reveal more details at the Amazing X-Men panel it probably isn't. This however now has me thinking that it's a new Savage Wolverine arc, as that has been having a lot of story arcs where the writer is also the artist. "Overdrive" actually has me quite stumped as the only possibly thing I can think of is yet again a new Ghost Rider series. The yellow and green lettering of "Trust" makes me think of the Heroes For Hire and Luke Cage so I personally think that this will be the revelation of a new Mighty Avengers story arc. Yet again the colour scheme of "Defend" kind of drops the biggest hint making me think of Iron Patriot, and along with the fact that Kot is becoming writer for Secret Avengers it makes me think that this is a new story arc for that series, though the fact that it's not being revealed at the Avengers panel makes me think that it may be a new Iron Patriot series instead. A new Secret Avengers arc may however be what "Frenemies" is teasing at, as with it being revealed at the Avengers panel it makes more sense. "War" again could be anything, though with Yost as writer and the fact that it's going to be revealed at the Superior Spider-Man panel it narrows it down a bit. I personally think that it'll be a new story arc for Superior Spider-Man Team-Up. Finally I think that  "Descent" will be a new arc for Avengers Arena, as although I originally thought it may be a new Uncanny X-Force arc, the fact that it's being revealed at the Avengers panel makes me think otherwise.

Update

Since I posted this Marvel has released yet another teaser, which Newsarama again got an exclusive on, being teased as "Extinction" written by Sam Humphries with artwork from Andre Arujo and once again full details won't be released until the New York Comic Con. 

My Thoughts

With this being revealed at the Avengers panel of the New York Comic Con it would make sense that this is another arc for the Avengers A.I. series. The name however would suggest that something bad will happen for one or all of the characters involved.

Marvel released yet another two teasers today for their All-New Marvel NOW! with another project written by Nathan Edmondson teased as "Atonement" featuring artwork from Phil Noto, and a project written by Zeb Wells teased as "Assassin" featuring artwork from Mike Del Mundo. Also like the previous teasers full details won't be released until the New York Comic Con.

My Thoughts

Now both of these are slightly more trickier than the previous teasers, though I do have a couple of ideas as to what they may be. Now the fist one "Atonement" could be a new Black Widow series as given the orange colour, and the fact that Edmondson is used to writing more spy/crime styled stories, and with the details being revealed at the Avengers panel it would seem that the Avenger spy may once again get her own series. The next one "Assassin" could be anyone, as with Marvel having many assassins in their universe there are a lot of possibilities. It is however the silver writing that narrows it down suggesting someone like Winter Soldier, but although I'd much love to see him once more in his own series I don't think it is him, as with it being revealed at the Superior Spider-Man panel it has to be a Spider-Man related character, and with the assassin Silver Sable still not being confirmed dead or alive this could very well be the answer to this, seeing her return to the Marvel Universe in her own series.

Marvel Teases "Sinners" and "Higher" as Part of All-New Marvel NOW!

Marvel released yet another two teasers today for their All-New Marvel NOW! with another project written by Charles Soule teased as "Sinner" featuring artwork from Carlo Barberi, and a project written by Kelly Sue Deconnick teased as "Global" featuring artwork from David Lopez. Also like the previous teasers full details won't be released until the New York Comic Con.

My Thoughts

The red lettering on "Sinners" would make you think Thunderbolts, as with Charles Soule already writing on that series it would make sense that this was a continuation of that. The fact that more details will be revealed at the Amazing X-Men panel at New York Comic Con does however make me re-think that as Deadpool is the only Thunderbolt character with a connection to the X-Men. That does however then make me think that this may be a Deadpool related story, whether it's in Thunderbolts or something else. Either way I'm excited to find out more. The other teaser "Higher" is also not too easy to work out. With the fact that it will be revealed at the Superior Spider-Man panel of New York Comic Con it suggests a connection there. This makes me think that Deconnick will be bringing another Spider-Woman series to us, as with her working on the character in Avengers Assemble, as well as the fact she also writes the solo adventures of Captain Marvel, another Avenger Assemble member it makes me think that she'll be writing the solo adventures of another.

Marvel Teases "The End!" and "Global" as Part of All-New Marvel NOW!

Marvel released yet another two teasers today for their All-New Marvel NOW! with another project written by Dan Slott teased as "The End" featuring artwork from Giuseppe Camuncoli, and a project written by Jonathan Hickman and Nick Spencer teased as "Global" featuring artwork from Stefano Caselli. Also like the previous teasers full details won't be released until the New York Comic Con.

My Thoughts

Both of these seem rather obvious to me. The first teaser, "The End" has to be Spider-Man related as besides the fact that further details will be revealed at the Superior Spider-Man panel at New York Comic Con, Camuncoli has been a long time artist on the series even prior to it changing to Superior Spider-Man. I personally believe it will see the last stand of Otto Octavius as Spider-Man, and given the fact the teaser is in purple I believe it will be at the hands of the Green Goblin as with the build-up in recent months it is going to happen so why not then. The other teaser, " Global" has to be a continuation of the Avengers seeing them get a new team which will have members from around the globe.

Marvel Teases "Rad!" "Mindbubble" and "Corporate" as Part of All-New Marvel NOW!

Another two teasers have been released from Marvel for their All-New Marvel NOW! with a project written by Dan Slott teased as "Rad!" which will feature artwork from Michael Allred, and another written by Rick Remender teased as "Mindbubble" featuring artwork from Pascal Alixe and Nic Klein. Also like the previous teasers full details won't be released until the New York Comic Con.

My Thoughts

Now the "Mindbubble" teaser would appear to be a continuation of Remender's Captain America series, as during an interview with Newsarama he talked about a new character that he'd be introducing in his fourth arc of Captain America who will be named Dr. Mindbubble. I do however believe that the other teaser, "Rad!" will be a brand new series featuring the Silver Surfer, as with the lettering being in Silver, and Silver Surfers real name being Norrin Radd it's a no brainer.

Update

Since I posted this Marvel has released yet another teaser this one teased as "Corporate" written by Peter David with artwork from Carmine Di Giandomenico and once againfull details won't be released until the New York Comic Con. 

My Thoughts

This one initially had me rather stumped, but after thinking it through realising it has to be an X-Men title due to being revealed at the All-New X-Men panel I came to the conclusion that it could be a revival of X-Corp. It could however also have something to do with CORTEX Incorporated who are mentioned in the Mighty Avengers #4 solicit. This CORTEX may refer to the X-Factor villain with the same name that was one of Madrox's dupes, as with the X-Factor series coming to an end it might be a brand new X-Factor series.

Marvel Teases "Trial" and "Judgement" as Part of All-New Marvel NOW!

Marvel are at it again with their teaser images, as with what they're calling the All-New Marvel NOW! about to kick off they've released two new projects that will be written by Brian Michael Bendis, one of which is teased as "Trial" and will feature artwork from Stuart Immonen, and the other which is teased as "Judgement" and having Sara Pichelli on artwork. Full details will however not be released until the New York Comic Con.

My Thoughts

The main question over these two teasers is whether they'll be brand new titles, or continuations of current series. Now the huge 1's behind each image would suggest that both are brand new series, yet at the same time given the fact that both Immonen and Pichelli work with Bendis on current series (All-New X-Men for Immonen, and Guardians of the Galaxy for Pichelli) it would also suggest that they may also be continuations. I personally believe that they will both be continuations, and have a pretty good idea on what "Trail" will be, believing that it will finally see the trial of Scott Summers in the All-New X-Men series. I also feel that "Judgement" could either be a continuation to Guardians of the Galaxy seeing the Galactic Council face the consequences of their recent actions in Infinity, or that Pichelli will be moving as permanent artist on Uncanny X-Men and that it'll be a counter story to "Trial", though the first one sounds more likely.
